Boyds' Gun stocks?

Recommended Posts

Thinking of getting a wood stock for my Savage Model 11 .308. I like the tupperware one that came with the gun, however, I'm thinking of putting a wood stock on it. Have any of you guys used a Boyds' stock before? thoughts?

Thinking about the thumbhole stock

I have a Boyd's classic (or is it Monte Carlo) in laminate black / white / gray on my Savage 111 300RUM and love it. I have long arms and the added length, girth in the grip and slightly longer pull really fit me well. Just make sure the dimensions of the new stock work with your size.

Might I also throw this out there. I put a Bell & Carlson stock on my Savage Weather Warrior in 308 and am super impressed with this one. This is my go to deer rifle and if need be tactical shooter because after some minor work, this set up now shoots sub MOA's day in and day out.
