Various ways companies limit mags to be NJ legal

sorry to bring back a dead thread, but whats the consensus on these?

magblock + super glued floor plate + pinned through floor plate & mag block = nj legal?

 

Yes.  Using the mag block alone isn't enough, you need to weld the base on....

NO, that's the AG's interpretation of the statues (2C)

 

The Administrative Code (Title 13) is written by the AG's office, it was never passed by the legislature or signed into law by a Governor.

doesn't that make enforcement of it illegal then?

On Magpul 30 rd AR mags pinned to 15 capacity (however they do it) the only exterior markings refer to being a 30 rd mag. I'm not sure how they block the lower part of the mag, but without knowing that, you'd probably render it useless if you tried to alter it. And these are factory sealed packages. So I believe they are entirely legal. But I would expect to be harassed in a situation where an over zealous LEO was in a position to be looking it over.

 

And no, I wouldn't ever try to alter it unless the law changed to allow it.
