I love this gun,balance is good and shoots flawlessly..... but alas to have a S&W 686 with a 3 inch barrel......soon soon.

I've got the 2" blue 605 AND a 4" 686 both waiting for me once permits arrive

Hey pizza bob like always you blow me away with a cool looking piece, give us the details on that 44 looks intetesting. Yup I like the Taurus revolvers too, no issues ever.. might have to get one of those lcr looks very compact...

Nothing special (no pun intended), just an original Charter Arms Bulldog Pug in .44 S&W Special. Before factory SD .44 Spl was available, my SD load was 6 grains of Unique behind an Alberts/Taurus 240 gr lead SWC - large and slow - kinda like me.

that only counts for .357 mag, something to do with the gases cutting the frame

 

IIRC it has to do with lighter bullets jumping the crimp from recoil due to the light weight of the gun.

Absolutely - You need that 3" barrel so that your ejector rod is long enough to fully eject .357 cases
