There weren't a lot of rifles because the capitol police refuse to check rifles when you enter the building, only handguns. And the rally was supposed to be inside the building, only changed to outside at the last minute so most people thought they had to check their guns to attend.

Imagine that in Trenton!

I do wonder if the OC helps or hurts us. I understand the concept of "normalizing" guns in public, but I can see it backfiring. No doubt that picture will be used to spread fear and anxiety.

Just noted the Sean Parnell was a featured speaker. He wrote a very inspirational book about his experience in Iraq: "Outlaw Platoon." I strongly recommend reading it. We need more people like him on our side.

I know where you are coming from, but conversely: all those guns in public - many held by angry people - and how many shots fired?

(I must confess my heart skipped a beat when I saw the folding stock. Clearly someone with such an evil feature must be a madman.)

Hey guys,

Thanks for the input.  For now, perhaps you can just keep doing things your way, and we'll keep doing things our way.  Best of luck.

Here is a photo from the newspaper of the lines at one of the two entrances to get inside the capitol building to chase legislators and staffers around.  The wait to get inside was about half an hour.

Anybody want to come April 29, 2014?

I will be happy to coordinate with you guys if you want to check your guns and come inside and help us chase around legislators. I think a lot of you could have a really good experience at an armed rally on the steps of the statehouse. And, I think many of you could learn a thing or two helping us corner these people inside and see what it looks like when your "master" sweats for a change. And how we work with their staff (extremely hot chicks) to move legislation to be sponsored or out of committee.

If you go to SERE school, they don't make you catch and kill a rabbit. They teach you how to and give you a rabbit. Why is that? It's because there are so many skills to learn, if they throw you to the lions you will fail. Just like guitar. All classical guitarists practice the transitional movements in a piece as much as they practice the entire composition. It often makes sense to learn some basic skills in friendly territory rather than being thrown out of a plane and told to figure it out for yourself.

This is a place where you can see how things work, not how they fail. You learn skills by succeeding. And, with mentors and leaders. You will learn a lot of success if you join us.

I'm not putting this out there to boost our numbers or our efforts. This is sincerely an offer to give you guys a battlespace that has been prepped so you can learn.

^^^THIS is a GREAT idea!  I hope some of the NJ 2A folks pick-up on this idea!  We're so used to "caving" on this crap we don't really know how to win!  Plenty of nuance to learn here and apply to Trenton!  Hope I don't hear just crickets for too long!   I myself can't go--it's my wedding anniversary, but others should steep-up!

So much for that.

Anyway, it's Tuesday, April 29 as previously mentioned. Since nobody is interested, here is a link on PAFOA for information. You can get a ride if you post. Perhaps at a rally point in Philly, Lehigh County, Poconos, etc.

Were any of you there? Nobody reached out to me from here.

There were rifles everywhere. The cops came in early but then backed off.

So you guys understand, this isn't Obamaland. There are no security zones. You walk up to the legislators and staffers with your loaded rifles, sidearms, and BUGS, and shake their hands. Everybody is working under the assumption that armed women will act like ladies and men will act like gentlemen. This is everyday fare in America.

I had a rifle, and got a lot of looks running around Harrisburg City looking for a sandwich. We got out lunch at Philly Steak and Hoagie. Goodness gracious that place is awesome. I am from South Jersey so I know a good cheesteak, and theirs are good. So much PA food sucks you have to worry when you get out of the area.I remember about five years ago we showed up there just when they were closing. Somebody started banging on the door and they said they were closed. Then we said we had 50 people waiting to get in, and they said, "We are now open."

The rain and cold was miserable. I was not prepared for it. And, for me, there is no excuse. Nobody here has experienced more rain and misery than me.

So I had some stupid pocket Coleman trashbag poncho s a last resort. I was soaked head to toe and
