How does she shoot?

Now that is funny. :)

There are guns for shooting, and there are guns for showing. I am guessing this is the latter. Joe already has some fine 1911's if he wants to shoot one.

Beautiful gun by the way, Joe. Love the minimalist feel.

I had never even heard of ball cuts, then checked one out at a gunsmith in PA. Amazing how smooth the slide rides on the frame. Nice build choices.

That is one I don't agree with if I can find the bullet that a gun shoots and it is safe to do so I want to shoot it. They are tools very pretty tools but tools none the less. Am I going to go shoot a 1000 rds through it probably not but a magazine every now And again for sure

I don't have enough money to own "show" guns. All of mine are shooters. If I did though, I would have a few.

Beautiful gun

Nice case

I hate when they make cases where you HAVE to put your finger in the trigger to get the gun out of the case.

Jason actually asked me how I would want the case made, and he did give me choices. He mentioned the getting the pistol out of the case thing

Congrats. That is beautimous indeed. Yost is a great craftsman with metal. How does she shoot?

This one is not gonna be shot. I was planning too, but gonna give it to my son one day. Let him be the first to shoot it. He is only 5 now, so gonna be awhile.

I told my wife he gets it the day I get a call from the police station to come pick him up.LOL

Wow, thats a true Heirloom. Very cool. I have a few 1911s in my collection that are unfired. Every time Im tempted to shoot it I realize its going to shoot very similar to my other higher end 1911s and thats the honest truth.

That is beautiful. Must've waited forever for it. Thanks for sharing all those pics. Pics just don't do justice to these customs. Good choice in platform for the build too.

You make me want to get a pony and get on his waiting list. :)

    • In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.
    • 27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.
    • I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
