A few months ago my wife and I got our NJFIDs, took the NRA First Steps Pistol course and got our first handguns. Since then we've been having a lot of fun going to the range together, putting holes in paper and chatting with other folks doing the same thing. We've been talking about it off and on over the last few years and made a new year's resolution that it was going to happen this year regardless of the current political craziness going on. 

 

My wife's been talking about taking a shotgun class and trying out skeet or trap shooting for a while now. It looks like a good way to spend an afternoon to me. I've been checking out some of the other sport/competition things like NRA Bullseye, IDPA, 3-gun, etc. and seems like there's something for everyone out there. 

 

Looking forward to learning how to shoot better and having fun.
