mosin muzzle brake

Is one of these nj legal? I'm also not talking about the cheap eBay slide ons I found a site that makes them from steel. My mosin is chopped and so was the one in his video its welded on.

I believe you're allowed to have one "military feature" on a rifle. So if you put that on, you couldn't have something else, like a pistol grip.

NJ AWB and evil features only apply to semi-auto w/detachable magazine.

You can have whatever you want on a Mosin its bolt action. The evil feature rules only apply to semi automatic. Also a muzzle brake isn't an evil feature. Flash hider is.

I would NEVER want to put a flash hider on any of my Mosins. That is one of the reasons I like there things, the BIG flash! A muzzle brake may be cool, would help make a bigger bang. Maybe I'll try one.

Muzzle brake will help lessen barrel rise, witch in turn will keep you more on target for the next shot.

With the not-so-slick bolt action of these guns, muzzle rise is usually the least of my issues. Heck, some people have trouble just opening and closing the bolt on these rifles. I just rip it open and jam it back closed, not too gentle with most things...............

I polished the bolt so its easier. I'm not so worried about firing quick as I am about keeping my eyebrows. I had sporterized a mosin before and it shot fantastic and like an ass I sold it. Now I'm making a better one.

My bolt is fully polished as well one finger operation to cycle now.

I already have the holes done. I made a jig so its nice even and strait. Ive just been lazy to tap them
