sosa9999 5 Posted April 15, 2014 Recently chopped and crowned the barrel on my Chicom SKS...removed the bayonet log and FSB. The barrel is now 17.5 inches from the breach to the muzzle. Installed the full Tapco Intafuse kit with their handgrip, gas tube, piston and was able to locate factory Tapco 20 round fixed magazine that are pinned to 10 rounds.... Also installed the Murray's improved firing pin.....I believe I'm 922 compliant since the foreign parts count is currently 10. I'm unclear if I have to pin the stock to be Jersey legal....I don't believe it needs to be since the mag is fixed, but I just want to be sure....can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks! I didn't notice any. I haven't shot much distance yet, but at 25 yards it was still just as accurate. Did you guys go with the stock pinned or unpinned? maxxod 0 Posted April 28, 2014 You don't have to pin a stock on an SKS in NJ since it does not have a removable magazine. You cannot have a removable magazine on a SKS in NJ.
Purple Patrick 638 Posted August 27, 2016 Bumping this old thread. So I could cut the barrel down to 14.5 and pin a flash hider with a side folding stock? Can you say ultimate truck gun? this signature exceeds the 15 character capacity count
