Recommended Posts

I guess folks don't know it's still hunting season? (Today is the old, original "doe day." Only deer hunting is allowed today in the state.)

Follow up story in about a week:

Parents protest those evil, high powered guns used to slaughter the innocent Bambi ® deer in the woods. One of those bullets could penetrate the school walls and put the childrens' lives in danger!

Schools in NJ are now required to hold 1 fire drill and one "emergency" drill each month.   Emergency drills can be lock downs, evacuations, active shooter drills, bomb threats, etc.  They have already become meaningless.

If there ever was a real shooting, locking yourself in your classroom won't help - NJ schools are required to have locks on classrooms that can always be opened from the inside even when locked so everyone can get out in a fire.  NJ schools are also required to have glass in every classroom door to prevent anyone from inappropriate activity with a student.   So...anyone with a gun, hammer, or rock can break the window and reach in and open the door.

How have schools decided to combat this?  By keeping paper next to the doors that can be taped over the windows in an emergency.  Nobody can get in if they can't see you.  Magic paper saves lives!

But will that magic paper say:  "Gun Free Zone" so it will REALLY stop them?

Better than a TAGOUT procedure I guess.

He was using an 88 Magnum. It's so powerful it shoots through schools!

Just another example of the sheeple in NJ hunkering down in their gun free zones.  Wouldn't it be much easier and safer if they just required that a few teachers and administrators had guns and knew how to use them.  Oh wait, that is common sense something the sheeple are no longer in possession of in this state.
