ogfarmer 138 Posted December 19, 2013 *** REMINDER *** FREE HOME SECURITY SEMINAR THURS. 12/19 in Brick, NJ*** SPONSORED BY NJ2AS. ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!There have been a number of home invasions throughout NJ recently. In response, the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) is sponsoring a FREE Home Security Seminar in Brick, NJ on Thursday December 19, 2013. In doing so we hope to raise awareness of the NJ2AS and our mission and at the same time help NJ residents avoid the trauma of experiencing a home invasion. We are bringing in a variety of experts on the subject of Home Security, and they will be on hand to answer questions and describe various systems and services. The NJ2AS would like to thank Chet Wilson of the Firearms Training Center "ShootNJ" for agreeing to lead the discussion on Personal Protection in the Home. We would also like to recognize Mr. George Melassanos the owner of Mansion on the Plaza for graciously donating the meeting space for this seminar, and Mr. Richard Trevelise the immediate past president of the NJ Electronic Security Association for his participation. The NJ2AS will also lead a discussion on Firearms Safety in the Home as well as the proper way to submit applications for a Firearms Identification Card (FID) and/or Handgun Purchase Permit for those individuals who are interested in those options. It is our hope that by exposing NJ residents to a variety of options, they will be able to choose the ones that are right for them and their family. In order to be able to accommodate the largest number of people we are asking interested individuals to register at the link below. This event will be announced regularly on NJ1015 and other venues and we expect spaces to fill up quickly. If you know of someone who could benefit by attending this seminar, please pass the information along and encourage them to register as soon as possible.Based on the success of this seminar we will attempt to replicate this event throughout NJ. Thank you.http://www.nj2as.com/EVENTS?eventId=805996&EventViewMode=EventDetails
