Should we be buying our MSRs in PA?

Recommended Posts

The recent article calling for the CT police to look through FFL records to identify unregistered MSRs leads me to wonder. Is it prudent to buy them through PA FFLs? If it ever came to it, NJSP could force NJ FFLs to give up their records, but I'm guessing PA FFLs would just laugh.

I've been a strong believer in all long gun purchases going through an out of state FFL for years for this very reason.  It really does suck, though, for local FFLs and that aspect of it makes me feel torn.  I don't want our guys to lose business because of it.

If you're really that worried, you need to buy some 80% receivers and finish them yourself, out of the state of NJ.

I've already accepted that any guns I bought from FFLs or with permits are subject to confiscation.

Lets hope it never comes to that.
