Mikeg1970 0 Posted March 2, 2014 Apologies if this was already posted. Surprisingly, I could not easily find this posted anywhere. Whether you agree or disagree, someone started it and now we all need to support it. A lack of unity or strength will be disastrous at this point. If we can't unify, it will reinforce their belief that we are a non threat to them. www.recallsweeney.com www.facebook.com/recallsweeney @recallsweeney

DaveR 42 Posted March 10, 2014 Never gonna happen. I think you need 25% of registered voters in his district for a recall. 139,216 registered voters as of November 2013, of whom 67,070 (48.2%) were registered as Unaffiliated, 46,207 (33.2%) were registered as Democrats, 25,813 (18.5%) were registered as Republicans and 126 (0.1%) were registered to other parties 34804 required for a recall vote. He received 31045 for his win. Opponent receive 25599 Even if everyone who voted against him signed, it is not enough. 60% of the voters couldn't even be bothered to vote. 18.5% registered republicans I'll say it again. Never gonna happen.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted March 10, 2014 The online petition doesn't count either. The group that is attempting the recall will have to go out, hitting the streets in Sweeneys county door to door collecting signatures. I'm not going to say impossible, but definitely unlikely to be successful. With that said, sign it anyway in protest! Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!! He was just re-inaugurated this year (2014). The online petition doesn't count either. And, quite frankly, I'm not sure everyone is seeing the "bigger picture" here. Even if a recall vote were successful, remember who'd be taking his place... Ms. Weinberg! Is that not "frying pan into the fire???"
DeerSlayer 241 Posted March 10, 2014 At this point I don't think it matters, Loretta (confiscate) Weinberg, or Steven Sweeney, Cryan, Norcross. All the same person IMO as we have recently come to find out. Makes no difference which one is Senate president, they all have the same goal. Oppressive firearms legislation. I'm looking across the Delaware, tired of fighting an insurmountable battle. Sent using Tapatalk 2 NOW FREE!!!
Norseman 2 Posted March 10, 2014 Well we all have to let them know on Thursday that we WILL NOT COMPLY and they will look as silly as the legislators in CT. How will they do at the polls after they have made criminals out of 1,000,000 honest, law abiding citizens? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
aedubber 0 Posted March 16, 2014 Exactly, just let them know nobody will comply. These politicians need to be brought to court.

Norseman 2 Posted March 17, 2014 Well I gave a quick testimony basically saying we aren't going to comply and just look to Connecticut for evidence of this and asked them to save us the embarrassment here in Jersey. And many, many of our constituents gave hours of similar testimony. But the numb nuts in the assembly just don't get it. Donato 0 Posted January 27, 2015 Unlike this effort that had good intentions, I know how the system works. And unlike the recall effort we are only talking about 2,000 votes to effect change. June primary approaching fast. See my recent post in this section. We are looking for representatives from the municipalities below that comprise District 3. Now is the time to act. Bad politicians don’t get voted out . . . Leaders get voted in. Email [email protected] to volunteer or ask questions. Jim Hartman 31 Posted February 8, 2015 Man I can't believe this isn't a hot topic. We need to get behind this movement this is a bellwether moment for the cause of restoring our rights. This shit bag has to go. He's a full blown anti gun zealot. Anyone who thinks that he is going to help us in the future is dreaming. We need to have a list of all his missgiveings he is NOT popular in his district and I believe he can and will be recalled and lose in a recall election. Shawnmoore81 623 Posted February 8, 2015 If like this to happen but I do t think it will. He beat trunk not long ago. Until a really good candidate comes out he will win. I truly believe he's the next governor
Nucrunner 75 Posted February 8, 2015 The only "sure thing"... If we don't even try, it's certainly not going to happen. I went to the NJ2AS meeting at SJSC to hear what Alexander Roubian had to say, and yes his plan is a stretch, But it is a well laid out plan.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted February 8, 2015 And I wish him all the luck in the world. Sweeney didn't win in my town but he did in a lot of others.
intercooler 41 Posted February 8, 2015 really want Sweeney out? go to the bar he drinks at and ask why he drives drunk home, ask the police why when he gets pulled over he gets let go...or better wait for him to leave and then call him in and tape the exchange from a safe distance. just a friendly hint on how to get results
