Who can pin my barrel and muzzle break?

Recommended Posts

Just talked to heritage guild in rahway today. They have no problem doing it. I cannot attest to their work, but I will be bringing my barrel there in the next week to get pinned and welded, then we shall see how they do.

I just called Heritage Rahway today to ask a question. They want $75 for a transfer. I asked if it includes NICS. Nope. That is outrageous.

Dude, love the sig pic...brilliant!

On your advice, I emailed Steve. I will update when he gets back to me.. Thanks for the advice, and I would rather support a fellow member than Heritage Guild...but they are like 4 miles from me...lol

Pop into chat, hes usually in there with us.

Any machine shop can easily pin and weld the pin for you as long as its not connected to the rest of the rifle. Should be able to do in 1/2 hour. $50 cash. Pretty sure (but check for yourself) that there is no problem having the threaded barrel and break shipped to you. Its illegal when attached to the receiver. Until that point its just a pipe.

Do it yourself. I had no idea what I was doing, talked to a few people, watched some Youtube tutorials, was feeling confident one day, and gave it a shot. Ended up only having to pay a friend $10 to weld the pin for me. But if you do ever decide to try it yourself, MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH IT THOROUGHLY FIRST.

I too am looking for this work to be done, but I'm down in South Jersey. Anyone have suggestions? I have gone to PK90 in the past, but he broke free already. I also know about Bangers. Any other options? I would use Bangers, but their gunsmith is out this week and I would like to get this done soon.
