My first time at GFH Woodland Park

Today I visited GFH's Woodland Park range for the first time and all I can say is ...WOW how freakin awesome!! Everything they do over there is top notch all the way. I'm not knocking any of the other ranges I've been to. I'm sure running a gun range/shop in New Jersey is no walk in the park so props to all of them. But I just had this euphoric feeling from GFH.

 

The highlight of my day )besides shooting my new Walther PPQ) was that I got to meet Anthony Colandro. As important and busy as Ant is I feel like he would've talked guns, politics, etc. all day long till the cows came home. I just really felt like I was in the cradle of the Pro-Second Amendment movement in New Jersey.

 

I really hope anyone who reads this that is a voting NRA member will give Anthony their vote. He is the real deal and has the passion and the drive - and expertise - we need in an NRA board member fighting for our rights - especially for New Jersey!

Woodland Park is a great range and Anthony and his staff are top notch people. If I had the cash to join I would have been one of the first to sign up. Freaking money...I need more of it.

 

By the way, I hear Anthony is adding an extra perk to all membership levels. Whenever a member purchases a gun he will bless the gun with a prayer and a sprinkle of water from the Passaic River.  Just kidding...

How do you like the PPQ?

Love it! Best out of the box trigger I ever felt in my life and I shot more accurate with it too. I have a 5" .45 XD that I'm pretty accurate with but I was even better with this gun the first time shooting it.
