dan1006 0 Posted March 25, 2014 Hi new member here from North Plainfield. I've been browsing the site and finally decided to jump in and join the forum. Been shooting for a little over a year now, and have a Ruger SR40 now, but looking to expand in the future.
A-Tech 8 Posted March 25, 2014 Welcome. My wife works in NP and I have a few cops friends there. That's definitely a place you want to have a good collection of firearms. Make sure you really have them secured.
Clintoon Eastwood 2 Posted March 25, 2014 welcome to the forums, btw how long was the wait for FID in N. Plainfield?
dan1006 0 Posted March 25, 2014 The wait was around 6 months. Got no response and nothing but attitude from the desk. Finally, through a friend, I got the chief of police involved and magically it was done a week later.

dan1006 0 Posted March 25, 2014 I wish Rays was back. I doubt its coming back as he sold it to the Nissan dealership and its now a parking lot. Only options to shoot are all 40+ minutes away.

dan1006 0 Posted March 25, 2014 I stopped by EFGA on sunday to see it. I'm a member at heritage guild and it was like ten minutes away. I liked the range and the people there were very friendly so I'm gonna stop by the gun shop in Clinton to get a membership. I don't remember the name of the place but its attached to a truck repair station I think.
