obracer12 1 Posted April 2, 2014 Local shop has a few in the black coating for $191.00 ( includes tax, etc...) Would use it for my next deer shotgun and fun at the range. Anyone ever own one/shoot one?
deerpark 83 Posted April 2, 2014 I had the nickel plated version. The finish was worn on the magazine from the fore-end. Since it was advertised as "new", I approached the seller who shrugged me off. Armscor, however, was very helpful. Gave me the option of a replacement or a full refund... Sorry I cant tell you much about the gun (though the online reviews have been positive) but the company stands behind its product.
gski1 3 Posted April 5, 2014 This is a pretty thorough review of the M5 http://www.gunblast.com/Armscor-M5.htm
ADK1113 1 Posted April 7, 2014 It's an over built modern version of the old High standard K120 series shotguns. well made, not to much in the ways of aftermaket parts, but for a cheap no nonsense home defense scattergun, you can't do much better at it's value to price point. I had an Armscor M5 and I still have a K121 shotgun, most parts seemed interchangable. one of the major differences is that the Armscor has 2 action bars to the High standards one, much more durable when you're running your scatter gun harder. oh and completely forgot, both shotguns are SUPER slick. you could point the weapon in the air, press the pump action release, and gravity will shuck it all the way to the bottom

ADK1113 1 Posted April 8, 2014 Well it just means fit is good. Theres no excess machining.marks or burs that cause the action to have excessive friction. I have a remington thats almost as smooth... but i'm also like the the 4th owner and it's broken in super smooth.
obracer12 1 Posted April 8, 2014 I hear good things but i have heard of breaks... since there are others that have dealt with armscor and had a good experience I might give one a try.
