Can I convert 15 round magazine to hold 10? (Sig Sauer p226)

Recommended Posts

So Im moving out of state and the law there says I can only have a MAXIMUM of 10 rounds in my magazine.  Problem is I have 4-6 15 round magazines for a Sig Sauer p226 9mm.  I called the Bullet Hole and Sig Sauer direct and they said they couldnt modify the magazine.  So my question is, what can I do with my current magazines: sell them and buy 10 round magazines or can they be modified?

Thanks

Check at www.magazineblocks.com.  I know he has a P226 18/10 block, don't know if 15/10 would work.

Honestly, I would not screw up the 15 round mags by pinning or blocking them.  I would buy some 10 round Mecgar 226 mags from Greg Cote for about $20 a piece.  You can sell the 15's or think of something else that might work :)

Here is Greg's website - mags are in stock now:

Good luck!

Yes you can convert... the manufacture will not do this.. you must do it yourself or have someone else do it (ffl)
