GUAM: Bill 296 Shall Issue Being Considered

"Bill 296 would change language for concealed firearms licensing from "may" to shall." That means concealed firearm licenses shall be issued to an applicant who meets the various specifications. Currently the Guam Police Department chief of police approves or denies an application for such a license and only those who have a good enough reason to own a concealed firearms license may be permitted."


Tennessee: Open Carry Freedoms Act of 2014" HB2409 & SB2424 Open Carry No Permit

There are twp identical bills, one for the House and One for the senate

Title 39; Title 40 and Title 70."  "



Louisiana: Hunting with Suppressor Bill Passes House, Goes to Senate

"This week, the Louisiana House of Representatives passed NRA-supported House Bill 186 by an 82 to 15 vote. Sponsored by state Representative Cameron Henry (R-Metairie), HB 186 would allow for the use of lawfully-owned suppressors while hunting all game animals. HB 186 now goes to the state Senate for its consideration. "

"HB 234, sponsored by state Representative Cheryl Grossman (R-23), would revise state law to allow a person to use a firearm sound suppressor while hunting in the Buckeye State. Currently, more than half of the states across the country permit hunters to use suppressors while hunting."
