Just shot my first Military Bolt action match!

I had the Chance to shoot my K31 today in a Bolt match at Cherry Ridge. It was so much fun!! The rifle with GP11 ammo did much better than expected. The other shooters in the match were seasoned guys who shoot in all kinds of matches and offered up so much help and tips for my different shooting positions. 

 

 

I will also be shooting in the next Garand match and cant wait.

How did the ballistics calculations work out?

They got me on paper and scored a 145 out of 200. Not a great score but I am happy with the guns performance. With a little more practice on my siting and standing positions I am sure the score will improve.
