Spikes Tactical ST-T2 Buffer

Do you have enough lube on the CH and bcg that so there is minimal friction when firing? I can only think its the bcg moving back and knocking the handle out of position.

Hmmm. You bring up a very valid question. The BCG was definitely dry at some point. I realized it when the bolt wasn't locking back again with PMC ammo. Once I lubed it again, the bolt was locking back on last shot. However, I can't remember if I noticed the CH issue before or after I lubed the bcg. I'll look into that on my next range trip. BTW, you've been awesome answering all my questions and helping me troubleshoot. I appreciate it!

I'll check that tonight.

If I push the CH back in, it does latch. It just wont' latch when last shot is fired. If I tilt muzzle up to reload, the CH slides down. But it does latch and stay latched if I push it in.

Its not supposed to unlatch after unless you unlatch it yourself. say your bolt is closed. You load the mag, pull the CH and lock the bolt back. Then you push the CH back in its place. Drop the bolt release to load a bullet into the chamber. Fire off your mag, drop it, and at this point the CH is unlatched?

Yes. Its unlatched. I've never experienced this before. I'm wondering if I damaged something, because the very first round of the range trip, was a reloaded round that didn't chamber properly and caused the bolt to be stuck in the forward position. After pulling on the CH didn't do anything, I decided to mortar the rifle to get the bolt to open. I did it very lightly, while pulling on the CH. I'm wondering if I broke something by doing that. My 6 position stock is in position one if that matters.

Nothing wrong with CH. It's pretty dry though. But I dont see how it being dry would cause this.

I don't see why anything would cause this. Lol. I can only think that the bcg is rubbing on the underside if the ch. Its a long shot but all I can think of. Other than that the ch is defective. Once mine are clicked into place only a meaningful pull on the lever will dislodge it. Unless it got caught on your clothing.
