Bought mine in 1984.  Still one of my favorite guns.  Gave it it's annual sighting-in yesterday.  Over 15,000 rounds through the gun, not one repair ever except for a front sight I broke.

 

I just saved my target from the trash to take this photo.  50yds, 4x fixed power scope, from standing position.  The rifle was supported on the siderail of my pickup but I wasn't at a bench.
