S&W 351 PD

Anyone have any first hand experience with the SW351PD 22 magnum. My grandfather in Fl is thinking of picking one up for ccw. He is recoil adverse and has trouble racking the slide on the smaller automatics (BG380 / G42)...

The 351 has become a more viable choice with the advent of .22 Mag SD ammo. However, if he doesn't have the hand or upper body strength to rack a slide it is doubtful that he will be able to effectively pull the heavy trigger of a j-frame Smith. A better choice might be a Ruger LCR in .22 Mag, as they have cam type linkage on the trigger that makes it easier than the Smith. In either case he should try before he buys.
