Decided to start 2nd build

Nope, I've never touched one. And the 3Gun barrel is anything but a heavy profile barrel so you should be fine with it. I've got one under a Centurion Arms CMR which is one of the lowest profile handguards currently available. In fact, the CMR is so low profile, most gas blocks don't work with it without grinding them down though the one that comes with the 3Gun barrel works.

A 12" would leave about a quarter inch of gas block exposed.

A 12" will leave almost the entire gas block exposed. The ODIN 3 Gun barrel uses an intermediate length gas system so it's just a tad shorter.

Hey PX, with the luth, what rings do you suggest for a scope. Mid or high profile?

T Bill makes a good point. I use ADM mounts and have yet to encounter a situation on an AR where their mount wasn't perfect.

4-10x40, tube is 1", 100 yards, adjustable cheek weld on the stock. I have low profile rings now and there not going to work.

I ordered some cheap rings to test height with. Once I figure it out  I will probably go with another Larue mount. Thanks for the help through out this build. Just waiting on rings, rail section, and bipod mount to complete it. All are on the way, pictures coming soon.

4006. Shot it for the first time today. Very nice for 12 years old.
