Which Headspace gauge to use

I have a WOA .223 Wylde SPR barrel.  I know Wylde chambered barrels can shoot .223 or 5.56.  Which headspce gauge should is use, .223 or 5.56, or does it matter?

I just re-barreled an upper and I thought it was good practice to check the headspace.  I know there's nothing I can do but I'm happy to take some advice.

 

I properly twice torqued the nut.

Right there's nothing you can do to adjust it so what you have is it.  Me personally...I'd fire it with some factory ammo and inspect the case and put it in a Wilson or Dillon gauge  and see how it looks
