Rimfire Precision Matches on Wed Nights at the Outdoor Range- Old Bridge

The OBRPC will be conducting Rimfire Precision matches every other Wednesday Night from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M starting  May 28, 2014.

 

The matches will be held at the OB  outdoor  50 Yard range and all shooting wil be done from the prone position.

Ok, I will see you later. Nick, you can use my gun when I'm done, just don't out-shoot me like usual!  :)  The Harris bipod is on it and seems really nice.

 

 

what kinda rig you got mike?

 

I might pop in, not much going on - But , of course - I dont have a suitable 22.

Iggy, we looked at the last target I shot, I was down 6.  :)

 

Alec, you and Nick can come, but you can't use my good gun, you can use on of my other .22's. And Alec, I know you have a Ruger 10/22 with a bull barrel, bring that one! 

 

I bought a gun via Gunbroker last year after getting my butt kicked badly using my Ruger SR-22, what a night and day difference!

 

See you on July 23rd Iggy, hopefully with the wife, it is our anniversary that day, hopefully she will want to go shootin'.  :)

Wish I could have made it. Thanks to Iggy and Sgt Major for putting these events on. We plan on making it to more of them next year. What size steel plates were you shooting at in the 100 yard range? Gotta get some practice in.

We  shot several types of targets for the 4 stages

 

Stage- 1  Barricade and Prone

 

10- 2" tall IDPA targets

 

Stage-2 - Prone Only

 

4- 8" Pepper Poppers

5- 4"  Steel Gonds at 110 ,115 and 120 Yards

 

Stage -3  Offhand

 

2- Dueling Trees 5" Plates

 

Stage -4   Prone or Bench

 

1-NRA 100Yard Smallbore Targets

 

All stages had to be shot in 10 minutes
