Not my problem ;)

Besides, it doesn't change what my choice is. The Trij HDs are almost identical anyway.

And... They do make them for a G19 :)

I know, but they make them for what, like two brands? Glocks and I think XDS's or something?

Very limited for most folks. :)

I have a Ruger P94 - .40 with 2 slides.  1 slide has the big dot sights.  I wanted to try them compared to standard sights and to eliminate all the other variences - like different gun, different grip, different trigger - etc....

I tried different drills to test the difference, using paper plates as targets and firing a few rounds at one plate then transitioning to different plates.

IMHO 10yards and less the big dot's allow me to transition fom one target to another a little quicker, I can also get the follow-up shots on target a little quicker.  Fractions of a second as time goes.  My hits were all on the plate but all over the plate.

Standard sights 10 yards and less I had more hits in the middle area of the plates, but I was slower with follow-up shots and transitions.

When I moved to 15+yards The results changed, The big dots missed the target so I spent more time aligning the sights and attaining a perfect pictire before pressing the trigger.  The standard sights had very little change in time.

Disclaimer: I don't have a ton of trigger time with the big dot sights so perhaps more trigger time would change the results.

I think the big dot's do what they are supposed to do - get you on target faster.  If I gave myself a shot of Epi during the test I could then simulate the adreneline dump one experiences in a fight or flight situation - but I'm not that dedicated to the test.

I'm in Cape May County - if your nearby you are welcome to join me at the range to try the sights for yourself.

forgive my spelling mistakes - I'm tired.
