Noobist 0 Posted June 5, 2014 Hello! Had my SCAR 17s for a few months now and have been looking for the right scope for it. I knew I wanted an ACOG and finally went for a Trijicon after finding it for a steal ($1050 shipped). It has the ballistic drop reticle for the .308 and a green horseshoe reticle and a reflex sight on top. It just came in yesterday and haven't had a chance to sight it and play with it much. The build is solid. http://www.manventureoutpost.com/products/Trijicon-ACOG-Rifle-Scope-3.5X-35-Green-Horseshoe-.308-Desert-Tan-RMR05G-TA11%252dD%252d100252.html# Looks like they're sold out now. Shane45 807 Posted June 5, 2014 I wouldn't hold my breath. The SCAR is one of those rifles that just seems to hold a price point for eternity!

JohnGalt 9 Posted July 27, 2014 Might wanna put some electrical tape on the light pick up. (Just leave a small portion exposed to where you can just barely see the reticule) If your outside and have the whole bar uncovered you'll be blinded by the reticule brightness. Just a little advice from a trained squad designated marksman.
Displaced Texan 11,737 Posted July 27, 2014 Gaffer tape doesn't leave a residue like electrical or duct tape. I just recently discovered it, probably old news to many of you guys.
JohnGalt 9 Posted July 28, 2014 Good call on gaf tape. It's really personal preference when it comes to that but it's defiantly needed. Especially if you actually wanna reach out and touch something at 600 yards if that reticle is too bright you'll be lucky to even see the target.
