NJGF gets first dibs on this deal

Recommended Posts

In the next week or two, I'll be making a very good deal available on a house branded billet AR15 lower. It's not the same design as the current PX15 lower and I'll have pictures next week to post. It will, however, have the same features as what is currently available meaning a threaded bolt catch pin, threaded takedown detent channel, and a tensioning screw between upper and lower. The deal will be:

*Billet 7075 PX15 lower

*PX LTG LPK

*ALG Defense ACT trigger

*PX milspec 6-pos OR A2 rifle length receiver extension kit

$199.95

Before I release this deal to the rest of the internet, I'm giving NJGF members first notice. If you're interested, post and subscribe to this thread. Because supply lines on some of the components of the bundled parts is spotty, I'll only be releasing 20-25 at a time.

I'll get in line for a look...

I do have 3 of your other billet lowers --  curious as to what the changes will be and why you made changes

Still waiting on billet uppers from you :)

These lowers were originally supposed to be delivered in April/May...of 2013. I had two machine shops making lowers on variances for me just to try to get product. The good news is, since they took so long, I had a lot of input in the design whereas the lowers that are currently available was a "take it or leave it" proposition as far as design went.

So which one will become the house lower??

How about the upper --  Which lower will that match?

I'm certainly curious to see the design -- I did have an issue with the current lower with a very specific application

Maybe the 3 I have will become collectors items

That's a good question and I don't know. I'll let sales dictate it. As for uppers, both are designed to match forged uppers. I'm still talking to the machine shop about a billet upper and honestly, I'm not very enthused by the design direction. I'll get pics of the "other" lower up as soon as my photographer gets them to me.

Also, what was the issue you had?

Charging handle dragged on the upper causing failure to feed 1st round from mag --  This is on a dedicated .22 rimfire upper

Upper receiver is a DPMS "round" type receiver -- no forward assist -- no shell deflector --  It's a little thick as far as uppers go

I've run this upper on a stag lower for over a year -- never a problem --  The stag has a flat spot where the extension tube threads into the lower -- just under the charging handle

The billet lower is round there leaving a small lip for the charging handle to get caught and hold up the feeding process --  It's where the upper transitions to the lower just under the charging handle

It is very pronounced on this specific upper -- I tried mating your lower to a Larue stealth upper I have laying around and it is much less of a problem

most likely won't cause feed issues in a non - dedicated .22 rimfire

I'll get you pictures if you want...

Jer

I'm not trying to be picky at all but just curious if by any chance you will be offering these without the bullet-style logos on for safe/semi/auto? Just regular logos like "safe" and "semi"?

In my experience retailing lowers, the market seems to prefer the pictograms over words which is why I went that route.

I'm calling tomorrow! Should I ask for anyone in specific? Or does everyone that answers the phone know about this particular deal?

Nope, anyone who answers the phone knows about this deal.

Thanks for the order!

I think I'm going to open up the deal to the rest of the internet over the weekend. Supply lines on the bundle components seem to be firming up so we shouldn't run out.

Picked up my lower today was waiting to grab a handgun I ordered as well to do both NICS checks at once. Beautiful lower and LPK. Shipping was super fast! Excellent product at a great price! Should make a nice .300 blackout in the near future. If anyone is looking for a billet lower, this is the one to get!

Typically same or next day to ship if we already have the receiving dealer's FFL on file. Then depending on method, 2-3 business days from here to NJ.
