Titegroup at Garden State Armory

I wanted to thank whoever posted the fact that GSA has Titegroup (I can't seem to find it unless it's not in reloading subforum) and alert anyone else who is getting desperate for pistol powder that there are about 5 pounds left. I've never tried it but many people seem to like it and it is supposed to meter a lot better than the 700x that I'm running low on now.

It DOES meter great, even down to the miniscule 2.9gr I use in my .380 loads!

 

The big thing to worry about is not double or even triple charging a .45acp shell, which is possible to do if you're inattentive (and stupid) enough.

(A piece of .45acp brass will hold well over 10gr of Titegroup, a catastrophic load, without overflowing.)

CAUTION is the watchword when using this position-insensitive Hodgdon flake powder

It's cheaper than driving to cabelas or paying to have it shipped...by a long shot
