DrMully 0 Posted June 10, 2014 I'm moving from Georgia to NJ in a few weeks and wondering if my GP WASR 10/63 is NJ legal The WASR 10/63 I have has a fixed stock, pistol grip - I'm also pretty sure it does not have a bayo mount and flash suppressor - but wanted to double confirm with the expert members in this forum. Could you please take a look at the attached image and let me know? Thank you so much! From previous threads, seems like a semi-auto with one of the below would be legal in NJ: (1) A folding or telescoping stock;(2) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;(3) A bayonet mount;(4) A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flashsuppressor; and(5) A grenade launcher; Edit: added bottom view of the muzzle
junkmanted 54 Posted June 10, 2014 just have the thread protector tack welded and your good. Also it can not say AK on it a WASR 10/63 shouldn't. And no mags over

RecessedFilter 222 Posted June 11, 2014 Mmmm I love AK's. Yeah, your muzzle nut is welded on. That looks to be NJ legal in that configuration.
DrMully 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Thanks for the replies! @junkmanted I'll most likely end up close to Edison or Summit
DeerSlayer 241 Posted June 11, 2014 I didn't realize that was a thread protector. So I guess I could put a brake on my WASR & pin/weld that baby. Going to have to take a look and see if mine is welded and if I can grind that crap off easy. The weld on the WASR in the picture looks like a 12year old kid did it.
