Grey Ghost Gear

Recommended Posts

In the trauma course, we discussed a personal on belt kit and a secondary larger kit for traumatic injuries. I have been searching for a decent, not super expensive on belt Primary kit. Does anyone have experience with Grey Ghost Gear? Specifically the Slim Medic Pouch? It seems a bit wide, but I like the design of it, the clamshell, and the recommended load out is sufficient for what I would want on belt for immediate reach. They are currently out of stock or else I would just order one and test it out. This won't be going overseas, it would mostly just ride on my belt for training and range trips.

This is the pouch that I'm referring to: http://www.greyghostgear.com/pouches/medic-pouches/slim-medical-pouch

I do carry a kit and have others stashed around the house/in cars. I have no experience with the Grey Ghost Gear offerings. Below is where I generally go to purchase my kits/pouches/and other components.

Check here for some outstanding EDC BOK kits and pouch options:

I use BFG and ATS med kits when carrying overt on armor or gunbelt. But they are a bit to big to carry concealed or for EDC.

I wish they were in stock, I would pull the trigger on it and if I really hate it, so be it. It's not going to see a hard life so I can't see spending $100 on a pouch to hold supplies. I love the D.A.R.K angel design but once again, it's pushing $100 for the pouch itself.

I looked at TT, but the pouch that they have it way too big and also quite expensive.

About 3 years ago, I ordered from Grey Ghost.  At the time, I believe they were a clearing house for discontinued Tactical Tailor stuff - such as tan or ACU.  They shipped out everything I ordered quickly, and were overall a good place to deal with.  I was happy with them and placed multiple orders with them, but nothing in the last 2 years.

I'm not sure what they are doing now - they seem to have a lot more gear.  I'm not sure if they are still mostly Tactical Tailor, if they make their own gear now, or if they carry a bunch of brands now that may range in quality (or all of the above).
