.750 OD compensators/muzzle brakes

I'm looking at what options are available for muzzle brakes that match up with the .750 OD of an AR style 22lr barrel.  i know nordic components makes one for the .223 round and I'm sure its probably safe to use but not sure if there would be any adverse effects of using a 223 brake for 22lr.  any other options?

What is the purpose of a brake on 22LR?  Could only be ornamental at best.  I fail to see the need.  This is from someone that has experience in both configurations. No net affect detected.

Use the Nordic tactical brake on my Nordic 22 upper. Works fine. It's mostly there to cover up the threads as I didn't want the bull barrel.

Mainly because the two barrels I'm looking at have threads. I'm fine with it being ornamental. I just don't want it to be detrimental
