I had the stock pinned a little short. Going to have to remedy that in the long run. I to be in position 3 instead if position 2. No huge deal.

 

Didn't get to shoot this weekend, wife is under the weather so stayed home to care for her.

Going to get it sighted in next weekend, for sure.

Nice rifle. I got out with my 1-8.5 Bushnell this last weekend and it's an amazing optic which would be at home on your 901. You should definitely look into one. I've handled some 1-6 optics as well and while they're nice, this 1-8.5 is like cheating.

First range trip with the 901 today.

I'm pretty impressed. Not much more felt recoil than a 5.56mm carbine. It'll shoot too.

 

Stock is definately too short. Wish I was able to send it to a local smith to make the gun compliant so I could have fitted the stock to me, but the dealer I bought it from wouldn't send it to a 'smith in NJ.

I'll remedy the stock issue next week. It shouldn't be too hard to sort it out.

what dealer did you use?   seems like an idiot.  

 

 

luckily the vltor stock is super easy to pin.  just need a punch, a roll pin, and a 3/32" bit.

Bought the rifle from an online dealer out of Tn. Had it shipped to Adco to do the compliance work. The Tn dealer would not ship to a NJ FFL, he wS afraid it would cause an issue.

I don't blame him, I blame the stupid, incomprehensible, messed up NJ laws.

Not Adco's fault either. I told them where to pin the stock based on where my Colt/Rogers stock is pinned. There is a slight difference in length between the iMod and the Rogers stock, and I screwed the pooch on the measurement.

yeah. the imod is a pretty short stock.  i thought it was a nj dealer that wouldn't do the work.  must have been a different thread i was confusing this with
