PK90 3,569 Posted June 28, 2014 Anyone own, try out, or even see a US Firearms ZIP Pistol? Thoughts?
chris327 30 Posted June 28, 2014 I know there was talk on the forum around a year ago about them. I thought it might be cool to get if i had a permit to burn since its cheap so i looked into it and got alot of bad reviews. mainly round after round jamming. I didn't really find much good on it so i never got it.
JT Custom Guns 956 Posted June 28, 2014 Junk! Trigger is hard and gritty Too thick to feel comfortable in the hand The Bolt charge (pushing down on the bars that protrude out the front) is awkward I could go on, but why waste time.................... djg0770 481 Posted June 28, 2014 Paul, TJ had them a while ago I believe. I also recall seeing an attachment that would allow it to hang off a rail on an AR, but I think that brought up other ATF issues.

remixer 1,645 Posted June 28, 2014 Iv had a few people ask about them.. i guess for NJ its not horrible or a "Im not letting permit expire" kinda sale
Sota 1,191 Posted June 28, 2014 I got so many other things I'd rather buy if I had a permit to burn, other than that ugly fail of a "pistol" (and I use that term lightly.) I too looked into one when they first came out, because different and cheap price. EVERY review I'd seen on it said it was a flaming bag of dog poo. I think you'd get more value by just setting fire to stack of $1 bills equivalent to the price of that "gun."
Sixtytwo327 14 Posted June 28, 2014 I hate this new trend in firearms where everything looks like it's made out of plastic and bolted together. I'll ignore aesthetics provided the firearm has a function and does it well - but at least find black bolts to match the case. Even if NJ had no permit system, I'd pass.
