Jim Norman 5 Posted July 10, 2014 There will be a sign up sheet at CJ and also at OB in July to auage the interest in a RO class to be held at OB. No date has been set as of yet. We MAY also look at running a CRO class in the future since currently the online class is not available.
Heavyopp 167 Posted July 10, 2014 Sign up sheet in the indoor range on the bulletin board?? I need to go sight in a new pistol -- I'll hit the sign up sheet if it's there this week
Krdshrk 3,871 Posted July 10, 2014 If it's a CRO class, I may be in depending on the timing. Having a newborn is not conducive to preplanning
Heavyopp 167 Posted July 10, 2014 What is the difference between RO and CRO?
Vlad G 345 Posted July 10, 2014 RO comes first, CRO comes second. CRO is a like a PHD in being an RO.
jvheitz 5 Posted July 10, 2014 I would be interested in the CRO class
alec.mc 180 Posted July 10, 2014 I would be interested in the CRO class I think you would have need to RO'd. "X" amount of level 2 or 3 matches to be eligible to even be a CRO
jvheitz 5 Posted July 10, 2014 Pretty sure that's RM. I think for CRO you just need to be an RO for a year, take the CRO class and design a course of fire.
Jim Norman 5 Posted July 11, 2014 RO is basic, CRO is advanced with regards to stage designs, Stage and match management, as well as rules By this time you should be well versed as an RO with actually running a shooter. RM has to do with the actual on the ground running of a major match. This has a much higher entry level.
Jim Norman 5 Posted July 17, 2014 We circulated a list Sunday at CJ. We will do the same next week at OB. This is just to gauge interest. I need a minimum of 20 and I need 12 minimum of the 20 to be OB Members. Easy, send me a simple Email with: Name: Phone: Club Membership: Membership Number: Email: Class will be in the Fall at Old Bridge. Cost yet to be determined, but figure between $60 and $70. We have to pay USPSA for materials and we have to house the instructor. We also include Pizza and drinks for Lunch on Saturday.
