MartyZ 693 Posted July 6, 2014 That HK wasn't perfect. ;D The USP is designed that way, in the case of a kaboom the energy is diverted downward into the grip. I've heard stories of the glock slide flying back into the shooters face.

Vlad G 345 Posted July 6, 2014 Plus, don't you know that .40 is like the worst cartridge ever? James Yeager said so and he has tattoos on his arms and a tactical beard, so he must be right.
Howard 538 Posted July 6, 2014 They are butt ugly, but they always go bang when you squeeze the trigger! I wish I could say the same about some of my pretty guns

MartyZ 693 Posted July 6, 2014 for the price of the HK it should include a medevac helicopter ride to the hospital of your choice and a private room I paid $750 for my USP45 NIB back in 2003 and have put over 5k rounds thru it without a single hickup. Ran it dirty, ran it dry, and it never failed to fire. So for the price, IMHO, it is definitely worth every penny. Oh, and not to take away from the original thread, it is much prettier then those ugly glocks .

A-Tech 8 Posted July 6, 2014 I own multiple glocks, and can honestly say, they are super-duper ugly. You don't marry a supermodel with the intention of her having kids and doing the cooking/cleaning..if you know what I mean

MartyZ 693 Posted July 6, 2014 Funny, My Glock did all that at 460$ I guess the extra $290 that I paid was strictly for aesthetics. Like I said, well worth every penny .
Vlad G 345 Posted July 6, 2014 I guess the extra $290 that I paid was strictly for aesthetics. Like I said, well worth every penny . If we are picking on guns choices, you payed an extra $290 to find if you have the official HK approved hand. At least if Apple made a non-ergonomic gun, they would have the decency to sell you a Apple iHand that fits their iGun. Instead HK just made a gun that only fits the hand of a german monk and called it perfection. They still have the monk, they keep in in a beer barrel and they let him stick his hand out through the oversize bunghole when they want to test new models for backward compatibility. If your hand doesn't hit the USP, it is because you don't operate hard enough, brah.
vladtepes 1,060 Posted July 6, 2014 let me know how you do with that light.. on 9mm that light is excellent.. but on 40 cal.. expect to be picking up down range every now and then..

And by the way, my hand fits the USP perfectly, I guess i'm a german munk. brah. But the glocks are still ugly. And I hate everything apple, unless it's a jonagold. Seriously, you gotta lighten up. djg0770 481 Posted July 6, 2014 Vlad G's description of HK reminded me of a VW Jetta I sat in years ago. "Ze engineerz have zurveyed ze population und have determined ze optimum ergonomics of ze mazter race. If u don't fit, it's your problem, not ourz." BlueLineFish 615 Posted July 7, 2014 H&k's have that stupid paddle release. Take a glock anyday. My opinion changed after shooting them without the shitty ny trigger. Cheap, reliable and functional. Looks arent everything. Plus glock gives me really good pricing
