I'm going to update the "family photo" in my avatar soon...

Recommended Posts

images to come, but there's going to be a new addition to the family soon... picking up a P2000 9mm v1.

that'll bring my HKs to...

P2000 x1

P2000SK x2

P30 x2

P30L x1

HK45 x1

might even think about selling one of the SK's... maybe. I need to ponder that.

Blah, you are 3 ahead of me. But I want one of each... Not more than one of the same. More financially sound.

Not any time soon though. I was yelled at for not having any Sigs, but I resolved that.

Now I want a VP9 and maybe a Mk23.... :D

I like having twins of certain ones... one to shoot the s**t out of and one to keep as my EDC/go-to-defensives in these cases. If a certain HK group buy ever happens I'll probably get 2 more HK45's out of that. And even though I'm not a striker fired guy I *might* get a VP9 eventually.

What caliber SK... I may take it off your hands.

9mm.

I'm not 100% sold on getting rid of the twin yet. they each serve specific rolls right now and I'm not sure if I can/should combine them. (one is a range gun, the other is my PA EDC and bump-in-the-nightstand gun)

We'll have to get together at SCFGPA so you can try out my VP9 ;)

And, definitely interested in the SK if you decide to sell. Ignore Bry@n :p

hmmm.... numbers time...

gun: $675

NICS: $15

tax: $48.30

TOTAL: $738.30

A transfer is $25.

Means I'd have to find one at $713.30 or less to be a better deal.

Just my analysis, but that makes the "have it NOW" and "support local" fee at about $100.  Not too bad.

That was basically my thought process. I could have waited for the smaller dealers to get them in stock and paid 50-100 bucks less but it would probably take 3-6 months. A $100 fee to get mine first was worth it.
