Faaa-BOOM! That thing was cool. There was a nice and generous Barret owner there ( typical of the firearms community in my experience) who was real happy to let me and my friend Shari give it a try ( my friend Shari had shot one before) . I was a little nervous but with some encouragement from the rifle owner and Rosey ( Smokin .50 ) I let it rip. Very glad I did ! Lots of fun And surprisingly not that bad in the recoil department.

I have a friend back in Tx who has one, but I've never shot it. Standing invitation to do so. Next trip out I'm going to make it a point to lose my .50 cal virginity!

We were at Old Bridge , yes Smokin .50 ( Dave ) hosted us there. Let us try some Black Powder ( so much fun ) in a novelty match , then we got to try to BMG , then we did a photo shoot. It was a good day

I was at RTSP about a year ago when they test fired one on range one - yes it was loud.  BTW I did get a chance today, also at RTSP, to fire a .50 cal Desert Eagle - boy does that have a kick and a huge fireball come out the front.
