Mossberg MVP series

Has anyone seen these anywhere? Specifically the Patrol or Flex model.  I am fairly sure that's going to be my next purchase but being a lefty i would like to handle one before just ordering one.  Really got the itch for a bolt action and i like that they use standard AR mags.

thanks gang!

the patrol hasbeen on my short list for a while just waiting for the right one with the buis to beckon me. Just beware that from what I've read and been told the plastic pmags dont work well, something to do with STANAG specs but the metal mags are ok Maybe the pmag issue has been fixed recently but I am not sure.

Also a left here.  My LGS had in an MVP Patrol but the feel wasn't great.  The gun was great but it didn't sit well with my when I went to cycle it.  Maybe it'll be more comfortable for you.  Seemed like a great gun, just not great for me.

I picked one up just to use as an alternative to my scout rifles as the 223/5.56 were cheaper and readily available, action got much better with use and it is very accurate out to 300 yds have also  been using it for groundhogs in Pa. and it has been great. Handy weight, decent trigger, and nice option to an AR platform for this caliber and PA legal chucks, yotes.

For me it was money well spent, love shooting off hand at balloons and steel out to the above cited range. Wish I had further opertinities to see how it would be out to 500 yds. So far all of the chucks have been under 250 yds. Also like having the iron sights available when I remove the scope with the QD rings.

Good luck if you get one.

BLF as an FYI I went with the short barrel, easy to carry and no Apparent effect on accuracy. Was worried about the flipper on the bolt that is designed to pick up the round from the magazine but after almost 500 rounds fired there is no apparent wearing or issues. Not as accurate or as finished as say a browning x bolt but it makes a nice beater rifle. Regards and stay safe
