njpilot 671 Posted July 16, 2014 Saw those at the SHOT Show. Didn't like that long ass muzzle brake. If I were to buy one, I'd buy a regular one and have my choice of brake installed.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted July 16, 2014 They are really cool and I like that they take AR mags, but damn, 2 grand is just so steep. Worth it I'm sure, but just steep.
Maksim 1,504 Posted July 16, 2014 I missed a used one in FL for $1500. ugh.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted July 16, 2014 18" barrel and long muzzle brake negates the benefits of a bullpup. I'll take a chopped barrel that is 16" with the brake
Blacksmythe 71 Posted July 16, 2014 Ouch.... Whats so hard about putting on an attractive break on a 16 in barrel. or no break like a M&P sporter?
remixer 1,645 Posted July 16, 2014 The brake does nothing for me
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted July 16, 2014 I'm not a fan of the brake either

Michael2013 56 Posted July 22, 2014 I'm not sure about the RS model, but I saw Tavor in Ottomanelli's around February this year. Certainly NJ-compliant, they can't sell it otherwise. Both black and FDE. No idea if they have any now.

Both black and FDE. No idea if they have any now. Careful. I bought one from there that was completely illegal. Didn't realize it til I got home. Long story. Had a bayonet lug, A2 muzzle device, and 30rd mag with a rivet inserted at 15rds...
mipafox 438 Posted August 27, 2014 Brake doesn't bother me. Looks like a baby can. Like KAC. I don't have bullpups so I haven't given barrel length much concern. The idea is usually to have rifle length barrel in sub-carbine package, not shortest possible. 5.56 is made for a 20" barrel, at some point past 14" you might as well give up and get a PS90. Coming from a guy with 11.5".
remixer 1,645 Posted August 27, 2014 That brake is hideous.. It defeats the purpose of the gun... Short is the key. IWI tried to make a compliant model for all states
SgtToadette 59 Posted September 5, 2014 Dear god why did they think throwing that abortion on the barrel was a good idea?
Sht 3 Posted October 5, 2014 I'd say they wanted a over all length of 30" & don't make a barrel long enough to achieve it.
NEHackettstown 21 Posted December 16, 2014 I picked my Tavor up at RTSP in Randolph. Was able to add muzzle brake of my choice.

NEHackettstown 21 Posted December 20, 2014 Thanks. It's an amazing rifle. I also added the Geisselle trigger pack which makes it even better to shoot.

mipafox 438 Posted December 27, 2014 If this was in my gun budget, I would buy the Jersey version and leave the brake on just to spite you guys because you are so muzzle sensitive in NJ. I think it looks fine. I do not have muzzle envy, and I am secure in my barrel attachments.
karlkurtz32 0 Posted December 30, 2014 That brake is hideous. What's the point of having a bullpup if you're going to make the barrel so long? May as well just get an AR.
