edwill86 0 Posted July 21, 2014 Just a heads up seems there is the start of a panic for Russian ammo. Every bit of cheap 7.62x39 I was looking at is all gone now. I got 500 rounds of golden tiger last night and now there is none left i can find. The sanctions do no restric ammo from Russia but ppl are losing it so prices are going to go up. Of you need some buy soon. Might be hard to find soon.

Three people think they can personally affect the ammo market by not buying ammo. Here is them in two weeks: "I cant believe I can't find any ammo! This sucks!" Don't say you weren't warned. Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted July 21, 2014 We had a thread like this a few months ago, when rumors started flying that there was going to be a ban on Russian ammo. If the ammo has not been restricted, why the panic? The biggest problem is that after these panic "shortages," the prices never come all the way back down to where they were. If the ammo has not been restricted, why the panic? The biggest problem is that after these panic "shortages," the prices never come all the way back down to where they were. They came back down to lower than they were after the 2008 run (by late 2011). And they are already almost back down where they were in December 2012 before that run. Get used to it. What you want will not always be on the shelf at the price you want. And that's not just ammo. Stock up for hard times.

average joe 5 Posted July 22, 2014 I NEVER buy factory ammo, I reload and cast all of my bullets. Let them buy at these crazy high prices, and later on, they will say " i can't believe I was so stupid and paid that for this junk ammo "
echo five foxtrot 1 Posted October 2, 2014 Anybody pick up any 7.62 x 54r spam cans lately? Has it dried up at all? I am curious what a fair price is for the 440 round cans?
