SuperSixOne 4 Posted July 24, 2014 Hi All, Building my first AR and wondering if these are worth it to even mount? I know I am going with a standard 1x or 3x sight, but I am not sure about flip up backups, or canted irons. Thoughts?
MidwestPX 172 Posted July 24, 2014 My personal opinion is canted irons make good sense when paired with mid-range variable power scopes that would be ill-suited to close range shooting. I prefer a fixed front sight and a folding rear when working with low powered variable/fixed power scopes.
