Should I have bought this S&W 14-2???

Follow up to my other post in Handguns. Went back to give the gun a good 2nd inspection.Brought my glasses(lol) and mini lamp, In great shape, blueing shows minimal-if any-wear and glossy. Turn line prominant but not really down to bare metal yet.Clean, not fired much and all functions seem good. No shake, everything tight and lines up fine thru all 6, all bores clean and crisp. Only real flaw I found was a very light scratch down the side of the brl, what a shame. BTW, also comes with another "custom" target grip with the thumb shelf .But I declined, Think the firm $475 was a bit steep. Was I wrong and run back to get it? Already have the 4" version(15-3) just thought this 6" would be nice....last day for the pp.

Did it have the the 'diamond pattern' on the grips?
