Bob's Little Sport Shop temporarily closed

I just got a notice on FB that the pistol Range at Bob's Little Sport Shop is temporarily closed. Does anyone know why? No reason was given.

Yes, but they rebuilt, and if you look at the picture on their website it seems that they built a nice range.  However, on the front page of the website it says:

I haven't been there since last year, so I didn't even know they finished the range.

The range re-opened in April and it's really nice. We've been there several times since it re-opened. I was surprised to see the notice that it was temporarily closed and wondered what happened.

Possible its range clean up day? I know Heritage has to close the range temp when the lead decon guys come to remove spent projectiles from the backstop material.

In fact, they were doing that this week on the main range at HG (Easton).  They did, however, have the "tactical" range open.

From a friend of mine that is also a friend of the owner:   A neighboring business cut down trees on the range's property (without permission) that were acting as a sound barrier.  I don't know if it was intentional or if they didn't realize where the property line was.   Now neighbors are complaining about the noise.  In fact, my friend lives about a block behind the range and says she can hear gunfire now and never could before - although it's not bothering her.

 

I heard this 2nd hand you now you're hearing it 3rd hand so take it with a grain of salt but that's what I've heard.
