COLT Single Action Army - Getting a tune-up

Does anyone know a top-notch gunsmith, who specializes in COLT Single Action Army revolvers?

 

Just picked-up a Gen2 Colt SAA, and need someone trustworthy to handle my baby.

MUST be in NJ, since I do not want to deal with FFL transfers and whatnot.

 

I would like an overall cleaning/tune-up, to bring the gun to top shooting condition.

Sorry I can't make any recommendations, but the saying goes : if it ain't broke, don't fix it .

 

What makes you think it needs a tune up? What exactly do you need repaired ?

 

It either works, or it doesn't.

 

As for a cleaning, I'm sure any semi competent gunsmith, or knowledgeable amateur could handle it

True, but I'd hate to break it or make an existing condition worse.

I'd probably ask some guys at a SASS Cowboy Shoot for some recommendations, and bring the gun to the shoot so they can work it and tell ya whether or not it even needs anything done to it or if they think it just needs "broken-in" to smooth itself out.  I know it's a ride, but the Hole-in-the-wall Gang shoot at CJ in Jackson...
