carl_g 568 Posted August 3, 2014 Nice! From the sound of it I assume you are building a krink style ak? Keep us posted!! For those of you looking for gas tubes for a saiga conversion, a Bulgarian AK 74 gas tube is the best bet if you can find it. Other AK 47 tubes will work with the exception of the yugo's. Krdshrk 3,877 Posted August 3, 2014 Was looking to go AK47 over 74... thought you had to get a US-Made gas tube for 922r?
carl_g 568 Posted August 3, 2014 Was looking to go AK47 over 74... thought you had to get a US-Made gas tube for 922r?That is false. It is not a counted part and the only us made one that you'll find is an ultimak.74 gas tube is plug and play for a saiga. Here is a link for the 922r stuff: http://thegunwiki.com/Gunwiki/BuildSaigaVerifyCompliance
