Sportsman's Den - South Jersey?

Recommended Posts

I never heard of it. Of course, I only frequented that road maybe once per year and only for a specific reason. How long ago?

Closed sometime in the late 1970's or early 1980's.

Another place is Altantic Arsenal (Al Kelllis?) don't know what happened to him or his place.

bought my first 2 or 3 pistols from them.

As did many of us.

I worked in jersey and lived in PA so I shopped at the Airport Circle and picked up in Montgomeryville

I had a flashback of their amazing inventory a couple of weeks ago when I trekked up to Tanners while I was on the free side of the Delaware River.

I liked Edelman's. Wow! That place gave me a stiffy.

Pop remembers that place, might have bought his 30-30 from them.

I have a Carcano from Woolworths (now that's long gone!) that my grandmother had purchased in the early '60s for $6.80 (still have the price tag lol) she took my father in and they had some surplus WW2 firearms including M1 carbines and pistols, he wishes he had taken home the M1 carbine for $9.70
