Caliber of Your Home Self Defense Handgun

Recommended Posts

Considering the limited amount of calibers mentioned here, I'm surprised the thread is still going. So that being said, I'm going to throw in the ultimate less than lethal ammo to combat home invasions.... You guessed it..... A ton of dog toys. Mostly various textured balls, hard, tennis, etc. Ask me how I know... It's like effing 'Home Alone' around here. Anyone makes it in, they will break their necks. All you'll hear is after it happens, "Hon, what was that loud noise? , Sounds like someone fell down and broke their neck babe, just go back to sleep..., ok dear...g'nite"! ;)

I see your dog toys and raise you....LEGOS! My daughter is playing with hers quite a bit now and I am convinced that there is no worse pain than unexpectedly stepping on a Lego in the middle of the night while half asleep.

While that may weigh good if the perp is in his/her bare feet, it is no match for many tennis balls plus one red strobing hard ball.

- You Lose!- lmao....

Another hand? You deal... ;)

Well technically the Obrez Mosins are SBRs, unless you build one yourself from a new (never used in a rifle) receiver.

ETA That's a good thing, BTW, otherwise BATFE would shut down imports of steel core x54r ammo ("armor piercing" handgun ammo it's a no go).
