JT Custom Guns 956 Posted August 27, 2014 I put this here because it has to do with an instructional class. Breaking News: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/27/year-old-girl-death-at-shooting-range-stirs-debate-over-children-and-automatic/ Now I'm only gonna say this: 1) I'm as much a Pro Gun Rights / supporter as anyone but I personally see no reason in the world to allow a 9yo to handle a Full Auto weapon! Full Auto is for the experienced shooter, and not a novice under any circumstances. 2) I cannot believe that an instructional range with Full Auto weapons do not have the weapons tethered to the table to prevent this type of thing! Just my opinion, but an young man (39yrs old) dies because of shear stupidity - Sad, very sad! jmo
david8613 69 Posted August 27, 2014 I agree, people don't think, its ashame the guy lost his life, luckily no one else got hurt. Should have been using something with way less recoil 22 maybe, and definitely not in full auto mode. Very sad...
