canada goose

Recommended Posts

Jerkey in the smoker is about the only way to make them palatable IMO. My mother-in-law had a pretty good cream sauce recipe for them in the slow cooker. I used to enjoy before she packed up and moved to Florida. Haven't had it in a few years. I usually give them to an old redneck that lives down the street from me. Not sure how he makes them, but he is always glad to take whatever I harvest.

Can I peg em off from the front door of my shop in Morristown?

We have a family of these winged rodents that will walk across the street and block traffic as they please...

As long as you have a shotgun license, federal migratory bird stamp, NJ waterfowl stamp, HIP #, and steel shot. Plus you need to set up 450' away from any frequently visited buildings or playgrounds. unless you have written permission from the people that own the buildings within that 450' radius. Your good to go.

LOL.... I could still never do it myself anyway.....

and I would be breaking every rule you posted up there anyway....

I'm willing to bet if you had a boat in a slip on Lake Hopatcong, the first 10 lbs of goose shit you cleaned off of it would change your mind also. I believe the last time I felt bad about blasting them was when I put an ice cold beer into my cup holder and it came out with a big green goose turd stuck to the Sam Adams label. I now kill them with zero prejudice, and always cover my boat lol.
